NEMESIS's journey in music began at a very young age, immersed in a household filled with melodies. Raised by a mother who was not only a professional ballerina but also an instructor, music was a constant presence in their home and travels. At the age of 6, NEMESIS picked up the violin, eventually exploring various instruments before discovering his true passion for the drums at the age of 15. Over the span of nearly a decade, he dedicated himself to writing, recording, performing, and touring with multiple bands throughout Atlanta and the Southeast. His unwavering love and dedication to music were evident in every note he played.

A notable highlight in NEMESIS's career was his time as the drummer for the highly acclaimed Glitterdome Allstar Band, featuring the late Pat Briggs from Psychotica, Squeezebox NYC, and Club Make Up fame. This band was a unique amalgamation of Drag Queens, gender-bending vocalists, local and national celebrities, and talented Atlanta musicians. Glitterdome gained recognition for their unforgettable performances, receiving the esteemed "Best Theme Night" award in Atlanta's Creative Loafing two years in a row during their residency at The Chamber and later at The Masquerade. They also had the honor of playing at prestigious events such as PRIDE at Piedmont Park and the Movie Release party of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, featuring John Cameron Mitchell.

As the Glitterdome chapter reached its conclusion, NEMESIS sought a new avenue to channel his passion for music. In 2001, he ventured into the DJ Booth, quickly becoming a regular in Atlanta's vibrant Industrial/Goth/Fetish scene, creating unforgettable nights at  renowned clubs like The Chamber, The Masquerade, The Shelter, and The Future, among others. 

After years of establishing his brand, NEMESIS aimed for new heights and found his calling at DRAGON CON, the largest multi-media convention celebrating science fiction, fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art, music, and film. This iconic event became the perfect platform for his talent to shine. Within the colossal hotel ballrooms, adorned with massive stages, impeccable sound systems, dazzling lights, and captivating video screens, NEMESIS took control of the dance floor, orchestrating unforgettable nights that stretched until the break of dawn. 

From 2008 to 2012, and then again in 2018, 2019 (virtually), 2020, and 2022 to 2024, NEMESIS graced the stages of Dragon Con as an official and featured performer. In 2023 & 2024, he returned to captivate audiences with three different performances: 8-Bit Bash (80's) on Thursday night, The Friday Night Rave, and The Last Party on Alderaan (An Open Format) showcasing the diverse array of music that NEMESIS masterfully curates. The anticipation for these upcoming shows is further fueled by plans for a documentary to capture the enthralling amalgamation of sights, sounds, costumes, and sheer joy that Dragon Con offers.

In 2023 NEMESIS cofounded THE CULT OF DRAGON CON DJ's with DARKSHIFT, an Atlanta based VJ who has been providing epic visuals for all of NEMESIS's performances at Dragon Con since 2022. This group has gone out of its way to include all DJ's who perform at Dragon Con as well as support and help promote them. This group has quickly grown, and gotten a lot of exposure as this niche group of Dragon Con Performers never really had a proper support system. In their sophomore year, 2024, the Cult of DC DJ successfully hosted all 3 of the after hours events and staffed almost every "official" Dragon Con party! Look for bigger things in 2025 from this group of superstars!

NEMESIS's performances at Dragon Con opened doors to other exciting events, including Sleep When You're Dead in Birmingham, AL, Black List at Club LaVela in Panama City Beach, FL, Bar Sinister in Hollywood, CA, and Ceremony in Boston. These opportunities solidified NEMESIS's reputation, and he soon found himself averaging 65-75 performances per year. In 2009, he relocated to Boston, where he embarked on a string of guest DJ spots at various New England events. 

DJ MOTHRA, a local DJ who ran Ceremony, played a pivotal role in introducing NEMESIS to the promoters and organizers in the area. This welcoming community allowed NEMESIS to become a regular fixture at renowned events such as Ceremony, X-Mortis, Sin-O-Matic, Bloodfeast in Boston, Plague in Portland, ME and HAVEN in Northampton, MA. 

NEMESIS holds deep appreciation and respect for DJ MOTHRA, who selflessly guided him through this new chapter and encouraged musical exploration and experimentation. The Boston scene proved to be a significant departure from what NEMESIS had previously experienced, with a broader musical scope in goth/industrial nights. Attending Ceremony for the first time, he was enthralled by DJ MOTHRA's set, where most of the songs were unfamiliar yet undeniably incredible. NEMESIS knew he had found his rightful place and was subsequently paired with DJ ZNUH, a collaboration that set dance floors ablaze with their explosive energy. Legend has it that these two DJs went back-to-back for an astounding 5-hour set at HAVEN, a feat that tested their skills, trust in one another, and ultimately resulted in an unforgettable night of pure musical bliss.

NEMESIS's tenure at Dragon Con, with its massive and devoted audiences, led to an opportunity with another convention centered around a popular television program, THE WALKING DEAD. Walker Stalker Con brought NEMESIS back to Atlanta twice, as well as Chicago and his newfound home of Boston.

While the frequency of shows has diminished to around 10-15 performances per year, NEMESIS continues to find fulfillment and satisfaction in scratching the itch that only music can reach. 

In 2024, he began to revive his presence in the Boston scene and extended his reach to Atlanta and again. Exciting developments await, so stay tuned to witness NEMESIS's musical resurgence unfold.
